Chemical Process Engineer

SRI Consulting (SRIC) is looking for a chemical engineer to join its Process Economics Program (PEP) as a senior consultant. The job location is either in The Woodlands, TX office or Menlo Park, CA headquarters. The PEP program develops conceptual designs and costs for processes used in chemical and energy industries, and conducts private research including process evaluations and feasibility studies for individual clients.
The successful candidate will have a degree in chemical engineering or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of experience in process design and project management. MBA is a plus. In addition, knowledge in evaluating chemical process technologies with a major chemical company is preferable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Knowledge of AspenPlus and other process design and simulation and costing software is an advantage.
